Dr. Hernold Paul E is a homoeopathic physician from Thrissur, Kerala. He earned his Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) from Vinayaka Mission Medical College, Salem, and practises full time at HH Homoeo Clinic, Irinjalakuda, alongside his health-education work on social media.
In his practice, Dr. Hernold kept meeting patients who had made health decisions based on WhatsApp forwards and half-understood videos. Reliable information existed, but mostly in English and in medical language. So he started making short Malayalam Reels and Shorts: one health tip, one myth or one warning sign at a time, explained the way people talk at home.
Those tips spread quickly. Today he has 1.18M+ combined followers across Instagram, YouTube and Facebook, in Kerala and across the Gulf, the UK, the US and Australia.
Dr. Hernold is also the host of HPE Talks, a Malayalam health podcast where he asks specialist doctors the questions his audience wants answered.
