Advertising & Endorsement Policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026

HPE Talks is owned and managed by H2bonza Info Technologies OPC Private Limited, and produced by Divaux Technologies Private Limited. It is hosted by Dr. Hernold Paul E, a registered homoeopathic physician (BHMS). This policy explains why HPE Talks is an education-only platform and what that means in practice.

1. Why HPE Talks is education only

The National Medical Commission’s Guidelines on Ethical Advertising and Public Communication by Hospitals/Medical Institutions and Registered Medical Practitioners (public notice dated 6 October 2026) treat podcasts, influencer content, sponsored posts and promotional interviews as advertising. They do not allow doctors to endorse any drug, health product or commercial product, to let their name, image or voice be used to promote products or services, or to solicit patients. Doctors may take part in health-awareness and educational content that does not promote a practice, solicit patients or get monetised through promotional marketing. HPE Talks follows that standard for its host and its guests.

2. What we don’t do

  • No paid partnerships, sponsored content, brand ambassadorships or product endorsements by Dr. Hernold or any guest doctor.
  • No payment, gifts or free products in exchange for featuring a product, brand, hospital, clinic or doctor. Guest appearances are not sold.
  • No promotion of any doctor’s, clinic’s or hospital’s services, and no requests to book with a particular provider.
  • No patient testimonials, patient stories, before-and-after images, success rates or numbers of patients treated.
  • No cure claims, guaranteed results, or superiority claims such as “best”, “No. 1” or “most trusted”.
  • No fear-based messages, and nothing designed to create demand for unnecessary tests or procedures.
  • No bought followers, likes, views or comments.
  • No AI-generated people, patients, doctors or endorsements. Where AI is used to materially create or alter content, we say so.

3. Guest doctors

Guest specialists are chosen for public-health relevance and speak in their own name and designation. Episodes do not promote their practice, hospital or services. We ask every guest for their qualifications and State or National Medical Register number, so they can be shown with the episode.

4. Mentions of products or hospitals

Educational content may mention a type of product, test or treatment where that helps explain a health topic. Such mentions are general information, are not recommendations, and are never paid for. Suitability of any treatment is decided by your own doctor.

5. Earlier content

Some content published on Dr. Hernold’s social media channels before October 2026 was made in collaboration with brands and labelled as a paid partnership or collaboration at the time. We are reviewing that content against the new guidelines.

6. Health education is not medical advice

All content is for general health education. It is not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a doctor who knows your history. HPE Talks does not offer consultations or appointments. In an emergency, call 112.

7. Questions or concerns

If you believe any of our content breaks this policy, email info@hpetalks.com and we will review it.
